LABORATORY TESTS

Lab tests have been performed on several locations in preparation of the industrial demos.

Italy, ITM-CNR At ITM-CNR, all five types of membranes have been tested on selectivity and permeability. Experiments were carried out with pure gases, for the evaluation of ideal permeability and selectivity, and with the "NanoGLOWA gas mixture" (17% CO2, 78% N2, 5% O2) for evaluating the actual selectivity.
	Poland, IChP At IChP, pilot modules were tested under slightly different conditions than at KEMA. At IchP, flow was smaller than at KEMA
The Netherlands, KEMA Using a mini flue gas desulpherization unit (FGD) experiments complementary to those at IchP were carried out at KEMA.
	Israel, IEC Durability tests were carried out at IEC's Ruthenberg power plant, using a by-pass stream coming downstream the FGD unit. Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Parker and Haffmans module developers have used this test rig.
