DIFFUSION TRANSPORT MEMBRANES
Diffusion Transport Membranes (DTM) are developed by the University of Twente. They can be used to separate CO2 only, or both H2O and water. Within NanoGLOWA, hollow fibres have been developed that have sufficient thermal, mechanical and chemical resistance. Hollow fibres have a very high packing density (m²/m³) which makes them very suitable for CO2 capturing membrane separation processes. A picture of a hollow fibre (left) and the selective layer (right) can be seen below.

The Diffusion Transport Membranes have been used in the Parker Module.
